Union School District hires NAVIGATE for bond projects

Union R-XI School District has selected NAVIGATE Building Solutions to serve as its Owner’s Representative—contingent on the approval of Proposition KIDS on April 8. The recently approved contract mirrors the District’s previous collaboration with Navigate during the 2018 bond program, Proposition Wildcats. Navigate has always ended up saving the district more than what the Brentwood company is paid, board President Dr. Virgil Weideman said. “I’m fairly confident that’s going to happen again,” he said. “Obviously, you can’t predict the future, but it’s happened every time and these guys are really good. In my mind, it’s a way for the school district to actually gain income.”
